Attracting over 9,000 people each year, the GRCF is held at the historic Morgantown Fairgrounds and features the largest 4th of July fireworks display in South Central Kentucky, which is nothing short of breathtaking.

HIDDEN HISTORY

Since 1981, the Green River Catfish Festival has been a staple for Butler and surrounding county residents. Happening around the 4th of July holiday, the annual Catfish Festival offers up a variety of entertainment options from exciting carnival rides, old-fashioned games, delicious foods, unique vendors, road race, state-qualifying beauty pageants, livestock, and 4-H shows, captivating art displays, classic car & tractor shows, nightly concert series, canoeing & kayaking, terrapin race, corn hole, fishing tournament with thousands of dollars in cash prizes and so much more!
